This Privacy Policy explains how Tuki Live LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Tuki Live mobile application (the “App”), available on Google Play under the package name com.tukilive.app. By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
Account information: email address and password, or your Google account details if you sign in with Google Sign-In.
Profile information: display name, profile photo, bio, and other details you choose to add to your profile.
User content: live audio and video broadcasts, video reels, photos, audio, comments, in-app chat messages, gifts sent or received, and any other content you create, upload, or share within the App.
Support communications: information you provide when contacting us for support, reporting abuse, or submitting feedback.
1.2 Information collected automatically
Device and log information: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g. Android ID), IP address, app version, crash logs, and diagnostic data, collected via Firebase Crashlytics.
Usage and analytics data: in-app actions, session duration, and feature interactions, collected via Firebase Analytics, to help us understand how the App is used and to improve it.
Push notification tokens: device tokens used to deliver notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging and OneSignal.
Approximate location: if you grant location permission, we collect your device’s approximate (network-based) location to support location-related features, such as showing nearby hosts and local content. The App does not request or use precise GPS location, and does not collect location in the background. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
1.3 Permissions the App requests
Permission
Why it’s requested
Microphone
To capture your voice when you speak in a live audio room or video broadcast.
Foreground service (microphone)
To keep your microphone active while you are speaking in a live room and the App is in the background, so your audio does not cut off for the people listening. A persistent notification is shown for the entire time this is running, displaying your session time and a “Leave room” button. The session ends when you leave the room, tap “Leave room”, or remove the App from your Recents screen. This service never starts on its own and is never started while the App is in the background.
Camera
To broadcast live video, record video reels, and capture profile photos.
Photos, videos, and audio files on your device
To let you upload existing media as posts, reels, or profile content.
Notifications
To display the ongoing live-session notification and to deliver push notifications about activity in the App.
Approximate location
To support location-based discovery features, where enabled. Precise location is not requested.
Network state / Wi-Fi state
To maintain live-streaming connection quality and detect connectivity changes.
1.4 Purchases
The App offers in-app virtual currency (coins/diamonds), gifts, and VIP features. All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing; we do not collect or store your payment card or bank details. Google’s handling of payment data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Information
To create and maintain your account and provide core App functionality (live audio and video rooms, broadcasting, messaging, gifting).
To keep your broadcast running while you are speaking in a room, including while the App is in the background.
To personalize content, recommendations, and the discovery/feed experience.
To process transactions related to virtual currency and gifts.
To send service-related notifications and, where you’ve opted in, promotional messages.
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, harassment, and violations of our Terms of Service.
To monitor performance, fix bugs, and improve App stability via crash and diagnostic reporting.
To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with:

4. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App’s services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 6).
5. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted network transport (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on our backend systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Regional privacy rights: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK) or applicable US state privacy laws, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. 7. Children’s Privacy

10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
